There are four main parts to Medicare:

(Part A)
Helps cover:
• Inpatient care in hospitals
• Skilled nursing facility care
• Home health care -
Medical
Insurance
(Part B)
Helps cover:
• Services from doctors and other health care providers
• Outpatient care
• Durable medical equipment
• Many preventative services like screenings, shots, vaccines and annual wellness visits -
MedicareAdvantage
(Part C)
Medicare Advantage bundles Part A, Part B and usually Part D, and may also cover:
• Vision services
• Hearing services
• Dental services -
Prescription Drug Insurance
(Part D)
Helps cover the cost of:
• Prescription drugs
• Many shots and vaccines
