We’re grateful to these outstanding individuals and amazing organizations. They’ve joined us in making our communities an even better place to be.
As the Official Bank of Minnesota United, Bell Bank connects with fans and helps honor the people who make our community great. At every match, Minnesota United and Bell name L’Etoiles du Nord, the “stars” of community service. Loon fans also vote on the Man of the Match, with Bell Bank making a Pay It Forward donation to the winning player’s charity of choice. Customer-fans can even choose a Loons logo design when personalizing their Bell Bank debit card!
See you next year in the new stadium! Thanks for an exciting season.
Apple Valley native and Timberwolves’ point guard Tyus Jones is a great ambassador for the Twin Cities and the entire state of Minnesota, two of Bell Bank’s core markets. A stand-up guy whose values match Bell’s, Tyus is a former NCAA National Champion with Duke University, Team USA gold medalist, first-round NBA draft pick. He’s channeled his passion for mentoring, leading his Team 1 Tyus AAU team and developing the Write Your Own Story inspirational teaching platform for kids.
Bell has teamed with Tyus to sponsor his AAU team and work with him to host children of military families at several Timberwolves games.
Bell Bank has been one of Amy Olson’s major sponsors since she got her LPGA tour card in 2014. A native of Fargo, and North Dakota State University’s most decorated golfer (she holdes the NCAA individual victory record with 20), Amy has had a breakout season in 2018. She’s among the top 50 earners on the LPGA tour and was right in it at September’s Evian Championship, tying for second. Connect with her on Twitter @AmyOlsonGolf or find her on Instagram at #amyolsongolf.
Fargo native Tom Hoge has been a professional golfer since 2011 and joined the PGA tour in 2015. As one of his major sponsors, we’re proud to see him sport Bell Bank’s logo. Among the top 100 players in FedExCup rankings, Tom has career earnings of more than $3.5 million. Connect with him on Twitter @HogeGolf.
Originally from Fargo, The Blenders now proudly call Minneapolis their home. This energetic quartet has entertained U.S. audiences for nearly 30 years with their unique, close-harmonied vocals. Since 2015, Bell Bank has been the proud official sponsor of The Blenders’ annual holiday tour, a Midwest Christmas tradition. Watch their Bell Bank Christmas commercial. Follow The Blenders on Twitter @TheBlendersSing.
Chris Hawkey wears many hats. He’s a rising country music singer and songwriter, with a new recorded called “The Real Me.” He’s a co-host and producer on KFAN sports radio, and a regular producer and contributor for Minnesota Vikings radio broadcasts. He combines his loves of music, broadcasting and helping others through so much of his work – and that’s why Bell Bank is proud to partner with him as a sponsor.
A fixture at our employee Christmas parties, Chris is also a proud Bell Bank customer. Read more of his story, and find out why he loves Bell.
Since 2014, Bell Bank has been the official sponsor of “A Christmas Carol” at The Guthrie Theater. 2018 marks the 44th year the Guthrie presents its adaptation of Charles Dickens’s heartwarming tale. It’s a holiday classic that has become a favorite Twin Cities tradition for generations of families – and as a family-owned company, we’re proud to be part of it.
The show runs November 13 – December 29. Visit the Guthrie Theater’s website for information and tickets.
“I can’t believe those are high school kids.” It’s a common comment following any performance of the annual Mainstage Musical, put on by students of Fargo-Moorhead’s Trollwood Performing Arts Center. Bell Bank has proudly supported Trollwood for decades, including being the sole official sponsor of the Mainstage production.
Last year’s production of “Hello, Dolly!” saw Bell team members volunteering to help build sets, and lots of proud Bell parents who volunteered and cheered on their cast-member kids. We can’t wait to see what’s on the mainstage in 2019!
Every year during the Fargo Film Festival, film fans at the historic Fargo Theatre look forward to (of all things) an ad for Bell Bank. Starting years ago with Bell chairman Richard Solberg, and continuing with president and CEO Michael Solberg, Bell’s leaders have had fun working with the theatre to produce self-deprecating, fun spots highlighting our sponsorship of the festival. (Check out last year’s commercial!)
Bell is proud to have been the major sponsor of the Fargo Film Festival from the beginning! If you love movies, mark your calendar for the 2019 festival.
