For kids dealing with health issues and their families, a hockey game can be a much-needed respite between doctors’ appointments and treatments – especially when that game includes a meet-and-greet with Stanley Cup winner and Minnesota Wild hockey star Matt Cullen.
We’re honored to partner with Matt and his Cullen Children's Foundation to give kids from Fargo and St. Paul children's hospitals a VIP experience at Minnesota Wild hockey games this season.
The partnership will give kids and their families a seat in a suite at Xcel Energy Center to see a Wild game each month and an opportunity to meet Matt and other Wild players. Bell is also flying the families from the Fargo area to the game.
“It’s just such a good feeling to be able to make a small difference in their lives, so I’m really thankful for everybody involved for letting this happen because, I’m telling you, I get more out of it than anybody else,” Matt remarks. “It just warms my heart.”
