Paying It Forward to Our Friends & Family

Each year, Bell Bank employeesreceive time off and a gift card to spend doing something fun with loved onesthrough the Friends and Family program. Here are just a few of our 2018 Friends and Family stories.

Bev Welder, facilities admin and design coordinator in Fargo, attended several classic rock concerts in the area, including Steve Miller Band, Peter Frampton and Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Paul Simon, Journey and Def Leppard.

Jeanne Kelley-Rosengren, front desk lead in Minneapolis, split the benefit to revisit Las Vegas, where she and her husband got married 20 years ago. The couple celebrated their anniversary in Vegas, and after returning they took their daughters to “Newsies” at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.

Marcia Hagen, administrative project support team lead in Fargo, flew east to cheer on her friend’s daughter, who had qualified for the Boston Marathon. Marcia was able to pick up the tab for lunch for not only her group but a couple sitting beside them to “make their day.”

David Haapala, credit officer in Bloomington, traditionally uses the Friends and Family benefit to share special time with his mom.

Shelly Zahradka, payment processor in Fargo, purchased a grand display of fireworks to share for her family’s Fourth of July get-together.

Sherry Price, teller supervisor in Fargo, took her family to Las Vegas to see a see a hypnotist, Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soleil and many other attractions in the City of Lights.

Sean Carney, VP/commercial lender in Bloomington, Minn.,spent his spring break with two other families in Wisconsin Dells, renting a cabin and enjoying the water park for a few days.
