Why does my CD show a $0 balance?

On the account summary page, it shows a $0 balance because this is an available balance, not a current balance. If you click on the CD, it will then show the actual balance of the CD.

How many devices can I use with the same account?

You can register as many devices as you’d like to use the same Bell State Bank & Trust mobile app account.

Am I required to have a personal online banking account to use Bell State Bank & Trust’s Bell Bank mobile app?

Yes. To start using mobile banking you must have a Bell State Bank & Trust personal online banking Username and password.  You will also use this to register for mobile text banking and email or text alerts. (The Bell Bank app is not available for business accounts.)

No. Since all information viewed and edited will be done so through online banking, no record of it will remain on your phone (unless you save it on your phone yourself).

Would an outside party be able to intercept my mobile banking transactions?

No. 128-bit SSL encryption protects your information as it travels from your mobile device to Bell State Bank & Trust. The 128-bit SSL encryption technology is the same encryption that safeguards Internet traffic for secure web applications.

How do I know that the Bell State Bank & Trust mobile app is secure?

What if I forget my password for the Bell State Bank & Trust mobile app?

To reset your passwords, you will need to access the Bell State Bank & Trust website. This action can only be done through Enter your online banking username in the login box, click on “Login,” then click on the “Forgot Your Password” link. You can also call our Customer Service Center at 701-298-1550 to have your password reset. Once the password is reset you must sign into personal online banking to reset your password before you can access mobile banking again.

What should I do if I change my mobile phone number?

Log on to your Bell State Bank & Trust online banking and register the new phone number. This can be done in the Mobile & Alerts tab.

What should I do if I change my mobile provider?

Even if you keep your same mobile phone number, if you change mobile providers you must access online banking or download the Bell State Bank & Trust mobile app onto your mobile device. Simply login to from your mobile browser, or download the Bell Banks mobile app to your new mobile device.

What should I do if I lose my phone?

  • Notify your wireless carrier immediately
  • Call Bell State Bank & Trust Customer Service at 701-298-1550 so we can suspend your mobile access. You can also log on to your Personal Online Banking account and access the Mobile & Alerts tab to disable access to the app via your mobile device.
