It's Here! New and Improved Personal Online Banking

Bell State Bank & Trust has a new and improved Personal Online Banking system. Our Personal Online Banking system offers new functionality and enhancements designed to improve your online banking experience, while continuing to offer a high level of security.

Here are some of the new features:

  • Single sign-on for all accounts
  • Check all your account balances, pay bills and make transfers right from the home page
  • Track your expenses in an easy-to-read pie chart – so you can see where your money is going at a glance
  • View real-time account balances, check images and history
  • Access checking, savings, loans and CDs 24/7
  • Export history to financial software or spreadsheets
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Pay bills online
  • View statements online

Important Information for You

Login Instructions

You can log in to the new Personal Online Banking system the same way that you logged in to the previous Personal Online Banking System – by using the login box on the Bell State Bank & Trust website homepage. You will be asked to fill out security questions the first time you login to the new Personal Online Banking system.

If you’re a Bell State Bank & Trust customer, and you haven’t enrolled in Personal Online Banking, enroll now! All you need is 5 minutes, your social security and account numbers.

Bill Pay

The bill payment screens and functions will have a new look and feel, but will essentially work the same way.

  • Scheduled Payments
    Any payments you have previously scheduled will occur as scheduled. All future scheduled payments will carry over to the new system. All Bill Pay information will carry over to the new system, including your billers (previously called “Payees”) and account information.


Recurring transfers will occur as scheduled.

Online Statements

Online Statements are automatically available in the new Personal Online Banking System. If you’re still currently receiving paper statements, please follow these instructions to cancel paper statements and view them online instead.

  1. Sign-in to Personal Online Banking
  2. Click on the Self Service tab
  3. Select Manage Account Preferences
  4. Check the box of each account under the Paperless Statements column

Secure Messaging

Have a question regarding your accounts? We now offer secure messaging within Personal Online Banking. This is a fast, secure way of asking a question, without sending personal information through regular email. We respond to all messages within one business day.

Attention Quicken Users

There are steps you will need to perform to continue using online banking. These Quicken Update Instructions must be completed on or after June 18. It is important that you perform the instructions exactly as described and in the order presented. If you do not, your Quicken updates may stop functioning properly.

    If the only account that I have is a business checking and savings accounts for a small non-profit organization, can I still have access to Quicken? If so, how do I start the process. I have not created a personal banking online account.

    Thank you for your questions. Business accounts do need to be enrolled in Business Online Banking to use Quicken with the account. If you have any questions about enrolling in Business Online Banking, please call our Cash management Department at 701-298-7064.
