Login Instructions

You can log in to the Personal Online Banking system by using the login box on the Bell State Bank & Trust website homepage.

If you’re a Bell State Bank & Trust customer, and you haven’t enrolled in Personal Online Banking, enroll now! All you need is 5 minutes, your social security and account numbers.

Personal Money Manager

Our Personal Money Manager tool allows you to do a few different things:

  • Track your expenses in an easy-to-read pie chart – so you can see where your money is going at a glance.
  • Set up monthly budgets for your spending categories. (This will help you each month to avoid overspending on the categories where you are trying to save money.)
  • Monitor your spending by setting up email alerts to let you know when you have exceeded any budget category.

Bank-to-Bank Transfers

With bank-to-bank transfers, you can securely transfer funds between your accounts at Bell State Bank & Trust and at another financial institution. Bank-to-bank transfers can be made anywhere in the United States. Those living in U.S. territories are not able to make these transfers. Bank-to-bank transfers scheduled before 7 p.m. Central Time, for amounts within the next-day transfer limit, will process as next-day payments.

Access this feature by using the Transfer Money option within the Payments tab in Online Banking.

Bill Pay

Online Bill Pay lets you schedule ongoing payments for regular bills such as car loans, mortgage payments, cable, utilities or insurance premiums. At Bell State Bank & Trust, Bill Pay with unlimited transactions comes free with your personal checking account. Please note that standard Bill Pay is free; there may be a fee for expedited Bill Pay. (Personal Online Banking is required to sign up for online Bill Pay.)

Online Paperless Statements

Online Statements are automatically available in the Personal Online Banking System. If you’re still currently receiving paper statements, please follow these instructions to cancel paper statements and view them online instead.

  1. Sign-on to Personal Online Banking
  2. Click on the Self Service tab
  3. Select Manage Account Preferences
  4. Check the box of each account under the Paperless Statements column

It’s that easy!

Paperless Statements are exactly the same as the statement you receive in the mail … only it’s online, so you can log in to view it when it’s convenient for you! (Need a hard copy? Just click “Print”!)

You can access all of your online statements from 2008 onward. You are able to request statements dated prior to 2008 for up to 7 years from the date of request by calling Customer Service at 800-450-8949. Fees may apply for reprints.

Email and Text Alerts

Do you ever need to know when a deposit is made or one of your accounts is running low?

Set up Email Alerts to stay up-to-date on all of your account activity. These alerts can notify you when:

  • Check clears
  • Money is deposited or withdrawn
  • A balance falls below a certain amount
  • Secure message notification. You will receive an email notifying you when the bank has sent you a secure message in online banking, or when you have exceeded a budget category you have set up in online banking.
  • And more…

Most alerts will be sent the morning after the alert settings have been triggered. Security alerts and New Message alerts will be sent throughout the day for your protection.

Secure Messaging

Have a question regarding your accounts? We offer secure messaging within Personal Online Banking. This is a fast, secure way of asking a question, without sending personal information through regular email. We respond to all messages within one business day.

Popmoney® Person-to-Person Payments

Popmoney allows you to “Pay Other People” anywhere, any time. All you need is their name and email address or mobile number to move money from your bank account to theirs.

Popmoney payments can be sent to any personal payee within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, but not the U.S. territories.

To get started: Sign-on to Personal Online Banking and click on the Popmoney tab within Payments.
